Calendar of Event 2025 of the Special Region of Yogyakarta: “Dare to Explore, Thrive on Adventure”, carrying the concept of sport tourism, not only invites tourists to explore exotic destinations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, but also encourages active participation through adrenaline-pumping sports activities and the spirit of adventure from running tracks that cross the hills to water sports on rivers and beaches. With the spirit of sport tourism, the Special Region of Yogyakarta not only offers natural beauty, but also opens up space for travelers to experience active, healthy and memorable experiences that can enrich their journey.
Throughout 2025, 205 events will be held, including 73 festival events, 7 carnival events, 21 competition/contest events, 12 MICE events, 21 music events, 54 arts and culture events, and 17 sport tourism events. Among the 205 events, 12 of them are featured events, namely the Parama Iswari Temporary Exhibition, Coast To Coach, Melasti Ceremony, Beach and Run, Gelar Pesona Desa Wisata, Mandiri Jogja Marathon, Sleman Temple Run, Jogja Fashion Carnival, Gerebeg Mulud, Wayang Jogja Night Carnival #9, Ngayogjazz, and Swara Prambanan.
